Classic Chess Pie 

2 Cups Sugar
2 tblsp. Cornmeal
1 tblsp. Flour
¼ teasp. Salt
½ cup margarine
¼ cup milk
1 tbl. White vinegar
1 teasp. Vanilla
4 large eggs, lightly beaten 

Mix together, bake at 350 degrees for 50-55 minutes.

For Cocoanut Chess – use 1 cup toasted flaked cocoanut.

For Chocolate/Pecan Chess – use 3 ½ tblsp. Cocoa & ½ cup pecans.

For Lemon Chess – Use 1/3 lemon juice & 2 tsp. Grated lemon rind.
